This study discusses the current challenges in the healthcare system. It illustrates how AI technologies can address these issues through predictive analytics, telemedicine, robotic surgery, natural language processing, and drug discovery. Moreover, it emphasizes the ethical considerations and challenges associated with AI implementation, including data privacy and the need for workforce training. By fostering collaboration between government, healthcare providers, and technology companies, healthcare systems can leverage AI to improve patient outcomes and create a sustainable healthcare system that meets the needs of its growing population. The study used a cross-sectional quantitative method with 219 samples. The study finds that all variables are positively and significantly associated, while predictors predict the criterion variable. The study was conducted with a small sample size; hence results could not be generalized. Future researchers need to perform the study with a larger sample size to get a broader picture of the issue to overcome the threats of cybercrimes against digital platforms in healthcare through the application of AI.
Abboud Sabriya Copyright (c) 2024 Open Access Digital Management and Governance Review https://journal.mdpip.com/index.php/oadmgr/article/view/131 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Investigating the factors affecting Customer’s Satisfaction from Mobile Money Transfer Service: Moderating Role of Attitude https://journal.mdpip.com/index.php/oadmgr/article/view/3
The study was conducted to investigate the mediating effect of attitude between price, social influence, ethical sales behavior, perceived service quality, convenience, and customer satisfaction. The study adopted items for measurement from previous studies. A deductive quantitative cross-sectional was used for data collection. A sample of 203 through convenience sampling method was used from the mobile money transfer firms in Pakistan i.e., Telenor, Mobilink, Zong and Ufone. The alpha value falls between .717 and .787. The predictor, mediators and criterions variables were significantly correlated except convenience, which is negatively correlated with customer satisfaction, and its relation is very weak. The R2 is 0.428; it means that 42.8% of change in customer satisfaction is being brought by all independent variables. The effect of ethical sales behavior on customer satisfaction is moderated by attitude of customer. The study will provide an understanding of customer’s perceptions in the potential market and assist mobile money transfer firms in planning their strategies more competitively.
Ghulam Muhammad Kundi Copyright (c) 2024 Open Access Digital Management and Governance Review https://journal.mdpip.com/index.php/oadmgr/article/view/3 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Judicial Digital Sustainability: Unlocking Environmental Gains with Digital HR Strategies https://journal.mdpip.com/index.php/oadmgr/article/view/114
In the present day when sustainability and operational efficiency of every organization counts, more so the organizations in sectors that are inherently resource-intensive, e.g., judiciary, life without digital technologies stands out inconceivable. This article was aimed to investigates the relationship between digital human resource (HR) strategies and digital sustainability in the judiciary system of Pakistan. A quantitative technique was applied to gather the data related to research objectives from administrative and judicial staff through structured questionnaires. The research unveils a robust relationship between the diffusion of digitalized HR strategies and increases in digital sustainability, indicating great positive environmental and operating impacts. In addition, results of regression analysis show that the digital HR strategies have strong predicting power to digital sustainability. This research explains how the utilization of digital tools in HR activities can help companies to achieve broader sustainability aspirations, for example, reducing carbon footprint and hitting global sustainable development targets. Theoretical implications highlight the importance of social constructivism in driving digital innovations adoption, and practical recommendations suggest that judicial systems should embrace digital HR strategies to foster efficiency and sustainability. There remains scope for future research to investigate digital HR strategies in other industries as well as further factors such as employee engagement or digital literacy.
Noor e Hira, Muhammad Fiaz, Muhammad Taous Copyright (c) 2024 Open Access Digital Management and Governance Review https://journal.mdpip.com/index.php/oadmgr/article/view/114 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 Impact of User Participation in Computer Based Information System Development on the Use and User Problems https://journal.mdpip.com/index.php/oadmgr/article/view/38
E-banking is the recent phenomenon that has revolutionized the banking system from conventional to online digital mode of transactions. This study examines the job of client interest in the dimension of utilization and client issues identifying with the computerization of banks. The objectives of the study was to measure the role of different computer related behaviors in the work environment; to compute the participation of users in the development of CBIS. The study intended to understand the impacts of user participation in CBISD on the use and problems of users in the office work; and to measure the levels of participation impacts on the use and user problems in digital work environment. The population of this study were all the banking staff working in different banks in Dera Ismail Khan. A pilot study was conducted to test the instrument as well as get data for sample size determination. A sample of 180 was determined for the main study. The study reported that user participation is significantly associated with the user of computer as well as user problems. Likewise, the R-square value is 0.395 which shows the overall effect of user participation on the dependent variable ‘use of computers. Similarly, the Beta value of user participation 0.451 further strengthens its relationship with the use of computers. The future research can replicate the same study with same samples in different city to further understand the change of causal linkage between factors and can examine its influence on intention to continue online banking services. The current study can be further be extended by classifying the samples as gender based on their online banking experience and to examine the change in intention to continue with online banking services. Factors that affect intention to continue online banking services that are considered important in one culture might be less important in another culture. Hence, future research could apply the same research framework by incorporating cultural factors in other countries to get broader perspective.
Rehanullah Khan Copyright (c) 2024 Open Access Digital Management and Governance Review https://journal.mdpip.com/index.php/oadmgr/article/view/38 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000 The Impact Assessment of Healthcare Policies and Regulations in the Quality of Health Management https://journal.mdpip.com/index.php/oadmgr/article/view/126
Quality is the significant factor that matters in healthcare. When it comes to managing healthcare, quality comes first, to achieve the highest targets it is significant to build a strong regulation. In the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ministry of health developed healthcare laws that should be followed by all parties. Some of these regulations are ensuring the provision and regulation of comprehensive, ensure the provision of primary healthcare services, set instructions and requirements to prevent the entry and spread of, regulate and control the handling of medicines and drugs, etc. This research employed a cross-sectional study design. A systematic review of peer-reviewed studies was done from two databases (Google scholar, PubMed), supplemented it by the documentation review in the original sites for (WHO and the ministry of Health in KSA. Data was collected from patients visiting private hospital located in the Qassim region. A non-probability convenience was used to get the opinion of the sample respondents. A structured questionnaire on 5-point Likert scale was administered by the researcher. The variables were found moderately correlated. The study was conducted by analysing the single cross-sectional data and the study suggest the use of longitudinal data in the future studies related on this topic. Result for impact analysis could be seen in the Table 5 that shows R2 .776 which means 77.6% variance explained by P&R and HCM upon the HQM. Likewise, model for Goodness of Fit F= 540/773, p-value,0.01 found fit. One unit change in P&R could bring 76.7% change in the HQM, similarly, 1% increase in HCM could enhance 22.7% of the healthcare quality. The study has employed nonprobability and convenience sample which cause issue related the generalization of the findings. Therefore, these findings led us to suggest the application of probability sample in the future studies.
Leena Mansour Alharbi, Ghulam Muhammad Kundi, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Khamis Copyright (c) 2024 Open Access Digital Management and Governance Review https://journal.mdpip.com/index.php/oadmgr/article/view/126 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0000
